Hamid takes pride in advocating for individuals, businesses and not-for-profit organisations  navigating complex legal systems, particularly in the areas of migration, Taxation and Civil litigation.

Since commencing his legal career in 2021, Hamid has worked across several Commonwealth agencies, including the Department of Home Affairs, the Australian Taxation Office, and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. His experience in these roles has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of government decision-making processes, statutory frameworks, and regulatory compliance.

Throughout his career, Hamid has worked on a range of matters involving migration litigation, visa cancellations, ministerial interventions, and constitutional challenges. He has appeared in various jurisdictions including the Victorian Magistrates’ Court, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Federal Circuit ,and Family Court and the Federal Court of Australia. He has also contributed to matters before the High Court. His time at the Department of Home Affairs has given him invaluable insight into how decisions affecting individuals’ rights and entitlements are made insight he now uses to benefit his clients.

In addition to his public sector experience, Hamid has been actively involved with Southport Community Legal Service for over five years, serving both as a lawyer and a Management Committee Member. In this role, he has advocated for vulnerable members of the community in civil and administrative law disputes.

Hamid is committed to ensuring that clients receive clear, tailored legal advice  as well as strong and strategic representation. He takes great satisfaction in helping individuals understand their legal rights and achieve fair outcomes, especially when facing complex or life-altering legal issues.
